thr ratio of two adjacent sides of a parallelogram ais 2 ratio 3.Its perimeter is 50 cm .Find its area,if altitude corresponding to larger side is 10 cm​

Answer:

Given: The two adjacent sides of the parallelogram is 2 and 3  

We have  

2x + 3x + 2x +3x=50 [A parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel]

10x=50 [Perimeter of a parallelogram is the total distance around the outside of the parallelogram]

X=50/10

=5

Therefore ,

Sides 2x= 2(5) =10

        3x= 3(5) =15

Area = l x b

      = 15 x 10

150cm2
