EXPLANATION:  

Fibres can be either man-made or synthetic. The amount of stretch depends on the quality of the fibres. Synthetic fibres can be stretched more than natural fibres. Silk is the most stretchable among the natural fibres, however it's stretchable is lesser than the natural fibres.  

The strongest fibre natural is that of spider silk. Polyester is most durable and strongest Synthetic fibres. Polyester is also the most stretchable thread.
