three 2 ohm resistors A,B,C are connected in arrangement of A in series and B and C are connected in parallel where each of them dissipates energy and can withstand a maximum power of 18 W without melting. Find the maximum current that can pass through these three resistors

case 1
when they are connected in seris
total resistance will be 6ohm
maximum power =18 watt

using formula p=vi
18=6*i
i=3 ampere

case2
when b and c are parallel
then total resistane will be 3 ohm
maximum power =18watt

using formula p=vi
18=3*i
i=6 ampere
