total resistance will be 6ohm
maximum power =18 watt
using formula p=vi
18=6*i
i=3 ampere
case2
when b and c are parallel
then total resistane will be 3 ohm
maximum power =18watt
using formula p=vi
18=3*i
i=6 ampere
