The mass of hanging block be M then as pulling force is Mg

so a= \frac{Mg}{m + M_{1} + M }

The acceleration relation can be obtained from the given concept.

The mass m will not slide over M_1

acosθ=gsinθ

therefore ,

 \frac{Mgcosθ}{m+M_{1} +M} =gsinθ

or M=[ \frac{m+M_{1} }{(Cotθ−1)} ]
