Three blocks of masses m1=1kg m2=2kg m3=3kg are connected by mass less string and placed on a horizontal frictionless surface. A force F=12N is applied to mass m1. Calculate the tension T1 between m1 and m2 and T2 between m2 and m3

To find tension of the system first we have to find 'a'

To find

Formula

F=(m1+m2+m3)a

Now,

F=12N

m1=1kg

m2=2kg

m3=3kg

a=?

so,

12=(1+2+3)a

12=6a

12\6=a

a=2ms-²

Now, find tension

formula

(m2+m3)a

(2+3)2

5×2=10

Hope it helps
