the no. of magazines they sell are 70 , 80,100

so, the profit earned by them will be,

70x , 80x and 100 x respectively.

the total profit earned is equal to 400

hence,

70x + 80x + 100x = 400

250 x = 400

x = 40/25

x = 8/5

so, profit received by each will be,

70x = 70 \times  \frac{8}{5}  = 112 \\  \\ 80x = 80 \times  \frac{8}{5}  = 128 \\  \\ and \\  \\ 100x = 100 \times  \frac{8}{5}  = 160

HENCE PROFIT RECEIVED BY BOY SELLING 70,80 AND 100 WILL BE 112, 128 AND 160 RESPECTIVELY .

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ

To find :

How much profit does each receive?

ㅤㅤ

Calculations :

• Sum of magazines = 70 + 80 + 100

• Sum of magazines = 250

ㅤㅤ

For first boy:

= 400 × 70/250

= 28000/250

= ₹112

ㅤㅤ

For second boy:

= 400 × 80/250

= 32000/250

= ₹128
