Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

first -you need to add all the magazines sold which will be 70+80+100=250

so next you need to multiply each one first 70/250x400

                                                                   second 80/250x400

                                                               third 100/250x400

first answer is 112

second answer is 128

and the third answer is 160

so the ratio will be 112:128:160

Given :

Three boys sell some magazines for a total profit of Rs. 400. The profit is shared between them in a ratio equal to the number of magazines they sell. If they sell 70, 80 and 100 magazines.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ

To find :

How much profit does each receive?

ㅤㅤ

Calculations :

• Sum of magazines = 70 + 80 + 100

• Sum of magazines = 250

ㅤㅤ

For first boy:

= 400 × 70/250

= 28000/250

= ₹112

ㅤㅤ

For second boy:

= 400 × 80/250

= 32000/250

= ₹128
