as total magazine sold out =250
so profit per magazine is equal to 400÷250 = 1.6
so profit of A=1.6 * 70 = 112 Rs.
profit of B= 1.6*80 = 128 Rs.
profit of C= 1.6* 100 = 160 Rs.

Dear Student,
◆ Answer -
x = 112 Rs
y = 128 Rs
z = 160 Rs
● Explanation -
Let x, y and z be profits earned by three boys.
Total no of magazines sold by three boys -
Total = 70 + 80 + 100
Total = 250 magazines
Profit earned by 1st boy -
x = 400 × 70/250
x = 112 Rs
Profit earned by 2nd boy -
y = 400 × 80/250
y = 128 Rs
Profit earned by 3rd boy -
z = 400 × 100/250
z = 160 Rs
Therefore, three boys earned profit of Rs.112, Rs.128 and Rs.160 respectively.
Thanks dear...
