secind one will get 8*400/25 which is 128

Question :

Three boys sell some magazines for a total profit of rupees 400 the profit is shared between them in a ratio equal to the number of magzines they sell. If they sell 70 , 80 and 100 magzines, how much profit does each receive?

Total no. of magazines sold by three boys :70 + 80 + 100

Total Profit Gain : 400 Rupees

Cost of 1 Magazine =  \frac{400}{250}

 \frac{400}{250} = Rs.  \frac{8}{5}

Profit Gain By First Boy :  \frac{8}{5} × 70

= Rupes 112

Profit Gain By Second Boy :  \frac{8}{5} × 80

= Rupes 128

Profit Gain by third Boy :  \frac{8}{5} × 100

= Rupes 160
