Three boys step off together from the same spot. Their steps measure 63 cm,70 cm and 77 cm respectively. What is the minimum distance each should cover so that all can cover the same distance in complete steps? (With full statement )

step measure of 1st boy= 63cm
step measure of 2nd boy=70cm
step measure of 3rd boy= 77cm
Now l.c.m.= 2×3×3×5×7×11
= 6930.

you just need to find lcm ie. lowest common multiple of the above three ...mark the word lowest ...we often have confusion whether to find hcf or lcm...i these types of cases we go with lcm ...
