The minimum number of packets of each brand the shopkeeper buy:

Quantity of packets of Brand A pen = 10

Quantity of packets of Brand B pen = 12

Quantity of packets of Brand C pen = 24

LCM will be calculated to find the answer :

2 10, 12, 24

2 5, 6, 12

2. 5, 3, 6

3. 5, 3, 3

5 5, 1, 1

1, 1, 1

LCM = 2×2×2×3×5 = 60

Hence the shopkeeper should take 60 packets.
