Given :- Three bus services operate from same depot. first bus service leaves at 10 min intervals , second at 15 min intervals , third at 25 min intervals. All three services leave depot together at 8 am . find time when three services next leave depot together ?

Solution :-

In order to find the next time of depot together , we have to find the LCM of given each individual time intervals .

so,

Prime factors of 10, 15 and 25 :-

→ 10 = 2 * 5

→ 15 = 3 * 5

→ 25 = 5 * 5

LCM = 5 * 5 * 2 * 3 = 150 .

therefore, we can conclude that, next time they leave depot together is 150 minutes .

hence,

→ 8AM + 150 minutes

→ 8AM + 2 hours + 30 minutes

→ 10AM + 30 minutes

→ 10:30 AM (Ans.)
