Hello Dear,

◆ Answer -

C' = C/3

V' = 3V

◆ Explanation -

Given that -

C1 = C2 = C3 = C

V1 = V2 = V3 = V

For capacitors in series, capacitance is -

1/C' = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + 1/C3

1/C' = 1/C + 1/C + 1/C

1/C' = 3/C

C' = C/3

Breakdown voltage for series combination is given by -

V' = V1 + V2 + V3

V' = V + V + V

V' = 3V

* (Shortcut - For n capacitors in series C' = C/n and V' = Vn)

Hope this is helpful...
