Three cars travelled distances in the ratio 1:2:3. If the ratio of the time of travel is 3:2:1. then the ratio of their speeds is

We have,

 \frac{1}{3}:\frac{2}{2}:\frac{3}{1}  =  \frac{1}{3}:1:3

LCM of(3& 1)=3

 \frac{1}{3}  \times 3:1 \times 3:3 \times 3

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

 = 1:3:9

Answer:

Correct Option: A

Step-by-step explanation:

Required ratio = 1/3:2/2:3/1

=  1 /3: 1 : 3

1 /3× 3 : 1 × 3 : 3 × 3

∴  Speed =  Distance /Time

= 1 : 3 : 9
