The Cabinet Ministers: Usually the top level of party leaders are appointed as the Cabinet Ministers. They hold important departments like Home, Finance, defense etc.

Ministers of State: They are in charge of smaller Ministries. they participate in the Cabinet meetings only on invitations.

Ministers of State:they assist the Cabinet ministers.
