Three charged Particles are arranged in a line as shown in Fig.
below. Change A =-5myuc,charge B=+10myuc and charge = =-12uc.
Calculate the net electrostatic force on Particle B due to the
other two charges
the charge A is negative and B is positive and C is negative .the distance between charge A and B is 6cm and distance between charge B and C is 4cm​

HELLO DEAR,

Given : charge A ( -5mC)

B(+10mC)

C(-12mC)

They are arrenge on a straight line as shown in figure.

To find net electrostatic force on B due to both charge.

Solution: From calculated value of electrostatic force in the given figure.

The net electrostatic force on B due to A and C= F(BC) - F(BA)

= (6.75×10^2 ) - ( 1.25×10^2)

= 5.50 ×10^2. It is attractive force towards C,because magnitude of C is grater than magnitude of B.
