Three children stood on the terrace and counted the
number of vehicles that passed by. Jinal counted 211
bikes, her brother counted 125 cars, Rohan counted the
bicycles and Seema counted the buses.
a. If the number of bicycles that Rohan counted is half
of the bikes and cars put together, then how many
bicycles did he count?
b. Seema counted the buses. Her number was more
than that of Jinal s and Rohan's put together but it
was less than 400. How many buses did she count?
