Three coins are tossed simultaneously 200 times with following frequencies of different out comes.

out come 3 heads -frequency 23

out come 2 heads-frequency 72

out come 1 head-frequency 77

out come No head-frequency 28 From the above compute the probability of the following

a)at least 2 heads
b)3 tails
c)at most 1 head

1. P (e) = 72 + 23 / 200 =93/200

2. P (e) = 23/200

3. P(e) = 77/200

here is ur answer...

total no. of outcomes (nS) = 200

1.) favourable outcomes (nE) = 23 + 72 + 77 = 172

probability (at least 2 heads) =

nE / nS

= 172 / 200

= 43 / 50. answer

2.) nE = 28

probability (3 tails) = nE / nS

= 28 / 200

= 7 / 50. answer

3.) nE = 77

probability (at most 1 head) = nE / nS

= 77 / 200. answer
