TO DETERMINE

Their net savings The companies work combinedly

EVALUATION

Let the companies be the A , B , C

Also let the amount for each companies = Rs 100

So total amount = Rs. 300

Now it is given that the companies receiving the savings 20%, 30%, 40%

So

Saving for company A = Rs. 20

Saving for company B = Rs. 30

Saving for company C = Rs. 40

Total savings

= Rs. ( 20 + 30 + 40 )

= Rs. 90

So net savings percentage

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{90}{300} \times 100 \:  \% }

 \sf{ = 30 \:  \%}
