let capacitance of each capacitor be c
three similar capacitance in series
thus equivalent capacitance will be c/3 = 2mf
c = 6 mf
now three capacitor connected in parallel
in parallel equivalent capacitance = 3c = 3*6 = 18 mf
connected across v = 12 v
energy stored = 1/2 *c equivalent *v²
= 1/2 *18*(12)²
= 144*9 = 1296. mj
