Three consecitive integers are such that when they are taken in increasing order and multiplied by 2,3 and 4 respectively, they add up to 74. Find these numbers.

let the first consecutive number be x
second consecutive no = x+1
third consecutive no = x+2
multiplying three consecutive nos
(x×2)+(x+1×3)+(x+2×4)=74
3x×12=74
3x= 74/12
3x= 6.16666..
x= 6.1666666/3
x=2.05555555...
Now find x, x+1 & x+2
second consecutive no = x+1
third consecutive no = x+2
multiplying three consecutive nos
