Let the three consecutive numbers be x,x+1,x+2

Sum of the numbers is 51.

∴x+x+1+x+2=51

3x+3=51

3x=48

x=16

The numbers would be x=16,

x+1=16+1=17,

x+2=16+2=18

So, the numbers are 16,17,18.

hope it helps you.

\huge\mathfrak\blue{Answer:}

Given:

  • We have given three consecutive integers whose sum is 51

To Find:

  • We have to find the numbers

Solution:

Let the three consecutive numbers be :

\implies x and ( x + 1 ) and ( x + 2 )

\underline{\large\mathfrak\orange{According \: to \: the \: Question:}}

\hookrightarrow \boxed{\sf{Sum \: of \: Numbers = 51 }}

\hookrightarrow \sf{ \: x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 51 }

\hookrightarrow \sf{ \: 3x + 3 = 51 }

\hookrightarrow \sf{\: 3x = 51 - 3}

\hookrightarrow \sf{\: 3x = 48 }

\hookrightarrow \sf{\: x = \dfrac{48}{3}}

\hookrightarrow \boxed{\sf{x = 16}}

Therefore number are as follows:

First Number ( x ) = 16

Second Number ( x + 1 ) = 17

Third Number ( x + 2 ) = 18

:\implies \boxed{\mathfrak\red{First \: Number = 16 }}

:\implies \boxed{\mathfrak\red{Second \: Number = 17 }}

:\implies \boxed{\mathfrak\red{Third \: Number = 18 }}
