Let the three consecutive no. be ,

x - 1 , x , x + 1

sum of the nos. is = 78

so,

x - 1 + x + x + 1 = 78

3x = 78

x = 78/3

x = 26

                                           

x - 1 = 25

x = 26

x + 1 = 27

                                             

∴ The three consecutive nos. are 25 , 26 , 27
