Let the smallest number here be 'x'.

Then, the three nos. are x, x+1, x+2.

According to question,

2(x) + 3(x+1) + 4(x+2) = 74

=> 2x + 3x + 3 + 4x + 8 = 74

=> 9x + 11 = 74

=> 9x = 63. => x = 7.

Thus, the three numbers are -:

7, 8 and 9.

Respective multiples are -:

2(7), 8(3), 9(4)

i.e. 14, 24 and 36.
