Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no be x,x+1,x+2

According to question:

  • x + x+1 + x+2 = 42
  • 3x + 3 = 42
  • 3x = 42-3
  • 3x = 39
  • x = 39/3
  • x = 13

so, the numbers are 13 , 13+1 , 13+2

= 13 , 14 , 15
