Let the three nubers be x, (x+1), (x+2)
Acording to the given information,
x(x+2)+1=4(x+1)
x^2+2x+1=4x+4
=>x^2-2x-3=0
x^2+1x-3x-3=0
x(x+1)-3(x+1)=0
(x-3)(x+1)=0
x=3,-1
Hope this helps you
