The dimensions of the cuboid , so formed are :-

Length = l = ( 4 + 4 + 4 ) cm = 12 cm

Breadth = b = 4 cm

Height = h = 4 cm

Surface area of the resulting cuboid

↝ 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

↝ [ 2 ( 12 × 4 + 4 × 4 + 4 × 12 ) ] cm²

↝ [ 2 ( 48 + 16 + 48 ) ] cm²

↝ ( 2 × 112 ) cm²

↝ 224 cm²

Hence , the surface area of the resulting cuboid is 224 cm²
