given
s = 6cm

surface area of resulting cuboid =3(total surface area of cube)-4(area of square)

 = 3(6 {s}^{2} ) - 4 {s}^{2} \\ = 18 \times {6}^{2} - 4 \times {6}^{2} \\ = 18 \times 36 - 4 \times 36 \\ = 648 - 144 \\ = 504 {cm}^{2}

ronitmenon13: Length of each side of cubes = 6cm

Now, 3 cubes are joined end to end

So, the Length of resulting cuboid will be 6+6+6 = 18cm

But the Breadth and Height will remain same

So, Breadth = 6cm and Height = 6cm

Surface area of resulting cuboid

Hence, the total surface area of resulting cuboid = 504 cm square
