Side of cubes = 8 cm

Now,

length of the cuboid formed if three cubes are joined together = 3×8= 24 cm

height of cuboid formed = 8 cm

breadth of cuboid = 8 cm

surface area of cuboid = 2( lb+ bh+lh)

solution:

Surface area:

=2(24×8+8×8+8× 24)

=2(192+64+192)

=2×448

= 896cm²

volume= l×b×h

= 24×8×8

= 1536cm³
