Three cubes of metal whose edges are 6 cm, 8 cm, and 10 cm respectively are melted to form a single cube. Find the edge of the new cube.

Length of edge of second cube=8 cm

Length of edge of third cube= 10 cm

Since three cubes are melted to form a single cube.

that means volume of three cubes = volume of new cube.

 =  {6}^{3}  +  {8}^{3}  +  {10}^{3}

1748 =  {x}^{3}

 \sqrt[3]{1728}

\Large {= x = 12}
