=(3 + 4 + 5)^3 cm^3

= 27 + 64 + 125

= 216 cm^3

Suppose the edge of new cube = x cm

Then, 216 = x^3

==> x = ∛216

==> x = 6

So the edge of new cube is 6 cm^3

: Lateral surface area of new cube = 4x^2

                                                         = 4 * 6^2

                                                         = 144 cm^2
