Three cubes having sides x cm , 8cm , 10cm
Total Volume = x³+8³+10³ cm³
These Cubes are melted to formed a cube with edge 12 cm
Then Volume of this Single cube is equal to total volume of small cube
Therefore,
x³+8³+10³ = 12³
x³ = 12³-8³-10³ = 1728-512-1000 = 216 cm³
=> x³ = 6³ cm³
=> x = 6cm
