Differance between Mendeleev's periodic table and Modern periodic table

• Mendeleev's periodic table is based on atomic mass while,
Modern periodic table is based on atomic number

• Mendaleev's periodic table contains about 66 elements whereas,
Modern periodic table contains about 112 elements

• In Mendeleev's periodic table there were gaps for undiscovered elements but ,
Modern periodic table maintains uniformity.

• In Mendeleev's periodic table noble gases were not placed (as they are not discovered at that time). While,
In Modern periodic table noble gases in a seperate group named as group-18.

• In Mendeleev's periodic table transition elements included with other elements but
In Modern periodic table transition elements placed in separate block.

hiiii..

Mendeleev periodic table can be defined as when Mendeleev arrange the element in the order of increasing atomic masses he observed that the element which similar properties appeared at regular interval this let him to stay at his famous periodic in 1869 did Mendeleev periodic law state that properties of elements are periodic function of the atomics mass.

" when I arrange element according to the magnetic of their atomic masses beginning with the smallest it become event that their exit a kind of period city in their properties I design made by the name of periodic law the mutual relation between properties of the elements and their acting classes this relations are applicable to all elements and have the nature of periodic function.

modern periodic table........

* In 1913 .H.G.J Moseley in England . Prove that the more fundamental property of an element with atomic number therefore he suggested that the basic of classification of element should be at this number this led to the modern periodic law which state that the properties of elements periodic function of their atomic number...

hope u understand.....
