Useful:
I) Friction between our shoes and the floor stop us from slipping.
2)Friction between tyres and the road stop cars from skidding.
3) Friction between the brakes and wheel help bikes and cars to slow down.
Not Useful:
1)When there is a lot of friction between moving parts, energy is lost to the surroundings as heat.
2) If you don't lubricate your bike regularly with oil, the friction in the chain and axles increases.
3) Friction is harmful as we have to spend more energy due to friction,many machinery parts tear off and wear out due to friction and in so many such ways it is harmful to us
