The three features of the Constitution that was drafted in 1791  by the National Assembly of France are as under :

1.  It favored monarch to be continued but the powers of monarch were limited. So it gave the concept of Constitutional monarchy and popular sovereignty.

2.  It was in favor of division of powers between the three forms of government-Legislature, Executive and Judiciary.

3.  It restricted the voting rights to ‘active citizens’, i.e. those who paid a minimum amount of tax.
