simultaneously on body of mass 2kg are
in equilibrium. If 3N force is now
removed then find acceleration of the body with proper explaination.

Given that,

  • Three forces = 2N, 3N & 4N
  • Mass of the body = 2 kg
  • Acceleration of the body = ?

{ since, 3N force is removed the total force on the body is 2N and 4N }

  • Total force = 2N + 4N = 6N

According to the Newton second law of motion,

  • Force = mass × Acceleration
  • Acceleration = Force / Mass
  • Acceleration = 6N / 2 kg
  • ( 1N = kg × m/s^2 ) By cancelling the terms we get,
  • Acceleration = 3 m/s^2

Therefore, the acceleration is 3m/s^2.

Hope this helps you
