Given that,
- Three forces = 2N, 3N & 4N
- Mass of the body = 2 kg
- Acceleration of the body = ?
{ since, 3N force is removed the total force on the body is 2N and 4N }
- Total force = 2N + 4N = 6N
According to the Newton second law of motion,
- Force = mass × Acceleration
- Acceleration = Force / Mass
- Acceleration = 6N / 2 kg
- ( 1N = kg × m/s^2 ) By cancelling the terms we get,
- Acceleration = 3 m/s^2
Therefore, the acceleration is 3m/s^2.
