Explanation:

if you add all 3 vectors you get net force=0.

so the object will not move in any direction.

Answer:

Object at rest

Explanation:

We are given that three forces are given by the vectors

2\hta{i}+2\hat{j},2\hat{i}-2\hat{j} and -4\hat{i}

acting together on  a point object at rest.

We have to find the direction  in which object moves

Let \vec{f_1}=2\hat{i}+2\hat{j}

\vec{f_2}=2\hat{i}-2\hat{j}

\vec{f_3}=-4\hat{i}

Net force on object =f_1+f_2+f_3

Net force =2\hat{i}+2\hat{j}+2\hat{i}-2\hat{j}-4\hat{i}

Net force=4\hat{i}-4\hat{i}=0

Net force acting on object is zero.

Therefore, object does not move and object at rest.
