Three friends Joe , Anderson and Anthony work in the same company and obtain certain salaries . If their combined salary is Rs.15680 and they spend 85% , 75% and 70% of their respective salaries and their saving are 6:8:10 respectively , then their salaries are :

The answer is ₹5954.43,₹4763.54,₹4962.03

I need the explanation of this ans .

combined salary = 15680

their spending % age = 85% , 75% , 70%

( saving = salary - spending )

i.e. their saving percentage

= ( 100 - 85) , ( 100- 75) , (100 - 70)

= 15% , 25% ,30%

Also given that their saving ratio is 6:8:10

we can write,

6/15 : 8/25 : 10/30

LCM of 15, 25, 30= 150

now it becomes

60/150: 48/150: 50/150

removing 150, we get

60: 48: 50 = 15680

60x + 48x + 50x = 15680

158x = 15680

x = 99.2405

60x = 60 × 99.2405 = 5954.43

48x = 48 × 99.2405 = 4763.54

50x = 50 × 99.2405 = 4962.03
