Three friends of different age and height stand in a queue for the photograph. The photographer asks the youngest
to stand to the right of Anu. The tallest stands in the extreme left. Bhanu does not stand in the center and he is not
the youngest. Charu is not in the center too. All are facing the photographer. No person lies at the same order in both
age and height. Now, who stands in the center?

Given:

3 friends Anu, Bhanu and Charu stand for a photograph.

Youngest stands to right of Anu.

Tallest stands on extreme left.

Bhanu and Charu does not stand in center.

Bhanu is not the youngest.

To find:

Person standing in center.

Solution:

Let A be Anu, B be Bhanu and C be Charu.

Let B or C stand on right of A.

B/C  A

Since, the youngest one should stand on right of A and B is not the youngest (given). Therefore, C should stand on right of A.

If C stands right of A, then B definitely stands on the left of A.

Only 3 friends are there. So, the extreme left position is the position that is just left of A.

The order of queue in the photo is C  A  B, i.e., Charu, Anu, Bhanu

Answer:

Anu is standing in the center.

Explanation:

Lets consider Anu as person "A", Bhanu as "B", and Charu as "C".

Now, the youngest is standing to the right of A. The tallest is standing in the extreme left. B is not standing in the center and is not the youngest. C is not in the center. So, the order in which they all are standing is this:

                                                    B - A - C

So, the person who is standing in the center is A that is Anu.
