Answer:
Let x be no of toffees
no of toffee taken by R =x3=x3
R returned 44 to bowl
so no of toffees in bowl =2(x3)+4=2(x3)+4
S took 1414 of it
no of toffees taken by S=14(2x3+4)14(2x3+4)
S returns 33 to bowl
so no of toffees in bowl= 34(2x3+4)+3=x2+634(2x3+4)+3=x2+6
T takes 1212 of it
no of toffees taken by T = 12(x2+6)12(x2+6)
T returns 22 to bowl
no of toffees in bowl=12(x2+6)+2=x4+512(x2+6)+2=x4+5
now its given 1717 toffees left in bowl
so x4+5=17x4+5=17
x=48
ans is c
