Given :-

  • Investment of A = Rs.20000
  • Investment of B = Rs.24000
  • Investment of C = Rs.16000
  • C Gets 20% of Total Profit for repair and maintenance of the air conditioner.
  • C gets Rs. 487.50 less than the total earnings of the other two ..

Solution :-

We know That, Profit is Distributed Among Partners in The ratio of Their (Income * Time).

So,

Profit Ratio of A : B : C = (20000*1) : (24000*1) : (16000*1)

→ Profit Ratio of A : B : C = 20 : 24 : 16

→ Profit Ratio of A : B : C = 5 : 6 : 4

Now, We Have Given That, C Gets 20% of Total Profit for repair and maintenance of the air conditioner.

That Means, Rest 80% is Distributed Among Them in Ratio 5 : 6 : 4.

So,

In This 80% C gets = 80 * (4/15) = (64/3)% .

So,

(A + B) Both Gets = 80 % - (64/3)% = (176/3)%

So,

C Total Profit = (64/3)% + 20% (For Reparing)

→ C Total Profit = (64 + 60)/3 = (124/3) %

Now, we Have Given That, C gets Rs. 487.50 less than the total earnings of the other two ..

And, we Have,

C get % pRofit Less than (A + B) = (176/3) - (124/3) = (52/3)%

So, we Can say That :-

(52/3)% ------------------- Rs.487.50

→ 100% (Total) ------------- (487.50 * 100) / (52/3) = (48750 * 3) /52 = Rs.2925 .

Hence, The Total Profit for the year is Rs.2925.

Hence, The Total Profit for the year is Rs.2925.
