Three friends went to a restaurant. The bill was ₹25. Each put ₹10. When the waiter bought back ₹5, each took ₹1 back. The left over ₹2 was paid to the waiter.
The problem-
Each paid ₹10 but got back ₹1.
So, (₹9 ×3) =₹ 27 they paid.
They also paid ₹2 to the waiter. ₹27+₹2= ₹29.
What happened to the 30th rupee?

Given :  Three friends went to a restaurant.

To Find :  What happened to the 30th rupee

Solution:

Total Paid = Rs 30

Owner Returned Rs  5

Net Paid = 30 - 5 = Rs 25

Each Person get rs 1 back

Hence paid = Rs 9 each

Total Paid by 3 = 3 * 9 = 27 Rs

Actually net paid = Rs 25

27 - 25 = Rs 2  is the difference  ( Tip given to waiter )

there is no meaning of adding 27 & 2 and compare with 30

its actually

27 - 2 = 30 - 5

=> 25 = 25

so nothing has gone anywhere
