Find the amount of hay a horse get:

3 horses = 5 bales of hay

1 horse = 5/3  bales of hay

Find the amount of hay a cow get:

5 cows = 8 bales of hay

1 cow = 8/5  bales of hay

Compare:

5/3  > 8/5  ⇒ horses get more

Find the difference = 5/3 - 8/5 = 1/15

Answer: (a) Horse = 5/3 bales of hay , cow = 8/5 bales of hay (b) Horses get more (c) A horse get 1/15 bales of hay more than a cow.
