Three incandescent bulbs of 100 W each are connected in series in an electric circuit. In another circuit another set of three bulbs of the same wattage are connected in parallel to the same source. (b) Now let one bulb in both the circuits get fused. Will the rest of the bulbs continue to glow in each circuit? Give reason.

Explanation:

If one of the bulb get fused in series circuit , the other bulbs will not work because the same current flows through each and every bulb.

But if one bulb get fused in parallel circuit the other's work as usual because parallel combination divides the current between each bulb so each bulb get required amount of current .
