Answer :

• Let the heights of red, blue and yellow kite be r, b and y respectively.

• Given that : r + b = 160, b + y = 140 and r + y =180

• Eiminate b from above first two equations by adding them.

• Now, we have r - y = 20 and r + y = 180

• Solving these, we will get r =100m

• By substituting r in the initial equations, we will get

b = 60m and y = 80m

• Hence, the heights of red, blue and yellow kite is 100m, 60m and 80m respectively.
