HERE'S YOUR ANSWER MATE:

P1=2D
P2=2.5D
P3=1.7D,

P=?

Total power of the lens combination,

P=P1+P2+P3

P=2D+2.5D+1.7D

P=6.2D

given that

P1 - 2D

P2 - 2.5D

P3 - 1.7D

now as they are placed in contact (kept touching in a row) we can find the power of lens combination by the algebraic sum of powers of individual lens..

That is P = P1+P2+P3

=2+2.5+1.7

=6.2D
