Three liquids are given to you one is hydrochloric acid another is sodium hydraxide and third is.A sugar solution how will you identify them? You have only have turmaric indicator

Pour any solution to the turmeric powder if any solution causes it to turn red then it is a base so that is Sodium Hydroxide, NaOH.

Next pour one of the other solutions.

If it turns back to its original yellow then they solution is acidic making the solution Hydrochloric Acid, HCl.

Then it is obvious that the last one is Glucose/ Sugar solution.

Glucose doesn't change the color of the turmeric powder.....
