Three masses m, 3m, 5m lie connected on a horizontal friction-less plane and are pulled to the left by a force F. The tension T1 in the first string is 24N. Find:

Answer:

1)a=3/m

2)9N

3)27N

Explanation:

1)as the surface is friction less so the acceleration of system is equal to accceleration of each block.

T=8ma

24/8m=a(tension in first string is due to masses 3m and 5m and the have an acceleration a)

a=3/m.

2)F=9ma

F=9×m×3/m

F=27N

3)T1-T2=5ma

after solving we got T2=9N.......

i hope this helped you ...if yes pls mark it as brainliest...
