Hi ,

Lengths of the Three rods are 45cm,

50cm , 75cm.

We have to find LCM of 45 , 50, 75

by prime factorization method :

45 = 3 × 3 × 5

50 = 2 × 5 × 5

75 = 3 × 5 × 5

Therefore ,

LCM ( 45 , 50 , 75 ) = 5 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5

= 450

Least length of the rope is 450 cm .With

this we can measure given three

rods .

I hope this helps you.

Hey there!

We have a find the length of a rod that can be measured by all of the given rods.

In other words, We need to find L. C. M of given lengths of rods .

Given length = 45 , 50 , 75

45 = 5 * 3²

50 = 5² * 2

75 = 5²*3

L. C. M = 5² * 3² * 2 = 25 * 9 * 2 = 450

Hence, The least length of rod which can be measured by all of the given rods is 450 cm.

Hope helped!
