Three men go buy a TV set for 30 pound. They pay 10 pound each. The guy behind the till says the TV is now in the sale for 25 pound. So the guy behind the till gives the guys 1 pound back each and pockets 2 pound for himself. So in total the guys have paid 9 pound EACH for the TV set.

I ASK YOU, WHAT IS 3 TIMES '9' = '27'. WHAT DID THE SHOP OWNER POCKET = 2 QUID.

£27+£2 = £29. WHY IS THIS 29 AS THE AMOUNT OF MONEY STARTED WITH WAS £30,where is the missing £1

Step-by-step explanation:

Is there a reason why you added £27 with £2 ?

Shouldn't you subtract £2 from £27?

Which gives us the selling price of £25.

Or in other way

3* £9= £27

Also the three men pocket £1 each.

So we get the initial amount as,

£27+£3=£30
